Fire Death Scene Investigation

The overall purpose of conducting a fire death scene investigation is to find the truth of the matter. The families of all the victims have the right to know exactly what happened. A secondary purpose is to document the investigation for the purpose of presenting it within a courtroom at some future date. Fire, Coroner and Homicide investigators have only one shot at getting the scene right. They must do it correctly the first time, every time!
