NFPA 1030, Chapter 6, a new chapter within the standard, focuses on preparing inspection reports, investigating complaints, and maintaining records and includes sharing information and consulting with fire inspectors and plans examiners. The First Responder Inspector must also have knowledge of various legal proceedings, such as enforcing the adopted codes and standards and investigating assigned complaints.
