EMT – Primary Assessment – DVD or USB

Presents primary assessment and describes its goals and steps. Demonstrates manual in-line stabilization, positioning the patient, and identifying immediate life threats. Presents assessment of a patient’s level of consciousness. Demonstrates how to assess ABC’s and determine the need for oxygen or positive pressure ventilation. Describes how to determine whether to continue to secondary assessment or prepare the patient for immediate transport.
